The 22-year-old German-American model — who is a member of the Henckel von Donnersmarck Austro-Hungarian noble family — took to Instagram toshare her relationship updatewith François Pinault Jr. On Sunday, March 15, the influencer uploaded a set of photos, starting with a sweet pic her with Pinault in a photo booth.

"Got engaged to my best friend and the coolest boy in the world," Henckel von Donnersmarck captioned the post. The following slide showed a formal statement of their engagement on stationary with a New York City address.

About one month earlier, in February, she shared another series of photos with Pinault tocelebrate their one-year anniversary.

TheCosima fashion brandfounder is the daughter of filmmaker Count Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck and Christiane Asschenfeldt, who is best known for being the first International Executive Director of Creative Commons.

Le Bal — which has been called the "Met Gala for teenagers" — is known as the premier debutante ball event for noteworthy families from around the world. The event has hosted young royals — of both the monarchy and Hollywood varieties — over the years since it originally launched in 1958. In 1992, it was revived by Ophélie Renouard.

The 2024 event made also headlines with a star-studded guest list, which includedApple Martin, the daughter ofGwyneth PaltrowandChris Martin,whose attendance went viralin the days that followed thanks to aTikTokclip of Apple and another Le Bal attendee,Aliénor Loppin de Montmort.

The video saw Loppin de Montmort posing for her photo before Apple jokingly stepped in and confidently posed for the various cameras. Social media users were quick to criticize the Goop founder's daughter for what they deemed "mean girl" behavior. However, Loppin de Montmortdisputed any such claimsshortly after the event.
